McGraw Hill
Clinical Reasoning ToolThis project was created during my time at WillowTree.
This project aimed to develop an interactive web application to enhance medical students' clinical reasoning abilities, ultimately fostering superior medical practitioners.
COMPANY
McGraw Hill is a leading global educational publisher and learning sciences company, providing customized educational content, software, and services for pre-kindergarten through postgraduate education.
ROLE
In my role, I translated textbook content into an interactive digital experience, collaborating closely with professors, doctors, and subject matter experts to ensure success.
This application serves as a learning tool rather than a decision-making tool. It is designed to guide students in understanding the rationale behind their choices at every stage. It doesn't provide definitive answers, as this wouldn't foster independent thought and learning.
To cater to diverse learning styles, we've incorporated two distinct instructional experiences within the tool. The first, a step-by-step view, provides linear, text-based guidance through each question. The second, an algorithm view, offers a more visual learning experience with a follow-along graph.
